Mode of Action:
Azonil 56 SC is a contact, translaminar & broad spectrum of new fungicide. Azonil 56 SC contains two well proven active ingredients one is Azoxystrobin which is strobilurin group. It acts as a systemic fungicide which has curative, translaminar and preventative action. The mode of action of azoxystrobin is to prevent the respiration of fungi due to the disruption of electron transport chain, preventing ATP synthesis (this occurs as the azoxystrobin binds to the Qo site of Complex III within the mitochondrion). Azoxystrobin has the broadest spectrum of any antifungal treatment.Chlorothalonil is a broad spectrum & protectant fungicide which belongs to Chlorannitrile chemical group.
